The transition to motherhood wasn't what you expected.

You imagined this time in your life would feel joyful and fulfilling, but instead you find yourself struggling with sadness and anxiety. The joy you expected feels out of reach. On social media, everyone else seems to be smiling with their babies, and you’re left wondering why it feels so different for you.

I’m ROBIN

You are a mother, but there are so many other parts of you. You deserve to find yourself again.

I’m Robin Selig, a Brooklyn-based therapist specializing in supporting parents through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. For nearly 20 years, I’ve helped parents through some of the hardest moments of their lives—including postpartum depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma.

My style is warm, collaborative, and often very funny. Being a parent is many things; sometimes it’s joyful and sometimes it’s devastating, and I believe we have to laugh whenever we can. Together, we will create a space where you can cry, laugh, and find yourself again.
